POSITION DUTIES
- Locate existing underground utilities
- Paint and flag locations using the appropriate devices and equipment necessary
- Ability to coordinate construction crew to complete jobs on time
- Ability to work in a high paced environment
- Ability to communicate with utility company’s effectively
- Team player with bore operator
- Load material or equipment for transport from show-up yard to job site and secure as needed
- Assist in securing work site, equipment and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety and safety of equipment and materials
- Prepare documents, reports or job aids related to work, equipment and safety as assigned
- Other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to locate existing underground utilities
- Ability to paint and flag locations
- High School education or equivalent preferred
- OSHA 10 certified preferred
- One or more years of construction experience preferred
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in different types of terrain including water, sand and dirt
- CDL Preferred
